My story
Hi, I’m Michelle.
Founder of Veaudry International, a hair stylist at heart, and family cook by popular demand.
I’ve never been a chef. But whether I’m building a business or standing behind the salon chair, my favourite place at the end of the day is still the kitchen table, with my family around it.
How this little book happened
From the kitchen table to the bookshelf
For years, the recipes my family loved lived mostly in my head, changing a little every time I made them. Every time someone asked “How do you make that?”, I thought: one day I’ll write these down properly.
Then I got curious about AI. Could it help a busy mom with no food photographer on speed dial turn our favourite meals into a real, proper cookbook?
It turns out it could, with a lot of late nights, a lot of back-and-forth, and a few photos where the AI got a little carried away. Every TM6 setting was double-checked, every recipe was tested at home, and the pages were laid out one by one.
The recipes
Years of family dinners: the meals we actually cook, mostly in my Thermomix, all written up with a conventional method too.
The photos
Created with AI, prompt by prompt, in a warm Mediterranean farmhouse style. Re-done whenever the coriander looked plastic.
The pages
Designed, proofread and assembled in Canva, from the chapter colours down to the freezer label on every recipe.
The gift
Printed and given to the people we love. It’s not for sale, and it never was.
The kitchen in the pictures
Somewhere between Greece and my own back door
I asked the AI for the kitchen I dream about: whitewashed walls, olive trees in the window, a glimpse of blue sea and a long oak table set for everyone. Real life is a little busier and a lot less tidy, but the feeling around the table is exactly the same.

From the first page
Welcome to our family kitchen
Some of my favourite family moments happen around the kitchen table. Life gets busy. Between work, school, activities and everything else, getting a meal on the table can sometimes feel like an achievement in itself! That’s one reason I love preparing ahead: it makes life easier and gives us more time for what matters.
For me, it’s never just about the food. It’s about catching up, sharing stories and having a laugh together. We try to get the kids involved too, peeling potatoes, grating cheese and setting the table, and put our phones and screens aside while we eat.
Do we always get it right? Absolutely not! Some evenings are chaotic, someone’s complaining about dinner, and we’re just happy everyone’s fed. But that’s family life, isn’t it?
This book brings together meals we love, shortcuts that help and recipes we come back to. I hope they bring more ease to your kitchen and more time with the people you love.

For my girls
May these recipes bring you back to our kitchen table: to the laughter, the busy evenings and the meals we shared. One day, I hope you’ll cook some of them for families of your own, making new memories along the way.
Always remember how loved you are. There will be a little piece of home in these pages, wherever life takes you.
